The Telephone Exchange is located at the edge of a public square in Campos do Jordão, a winter tourist city with mountainous topography. The site has two street frontages and a steep slope. The structure is supported on two points, with lateral cantilevers of 18 meters each, giving the building, on one hand, plastic lightness and, on the other, a strong urban presence. The contribution of engineer Siguer Matsutani in developing the structural design was of great importance.
