Brasília Shopping and Towers

Design 1991
Site area 14,400 m²
Built area 105,151 m²
The project is set within the architectural context of Brasília. The two arched towers, connected at the upper levels by a circular link, create a counterpoint to the shopping mall’s roof slab—also curved at its ends—which extends toward the main roadway in front (W3) over just two levels.
The building’s presence and dialogue with the city are enhanced by the transparency of the roof, which maximizes the use of natural daylight.
The development comprises 19 floors: three basement levels for parking (6,000 spaces), two levels dedicated to the shopping mall itself, and two towers with 14 floors each, housing a total of 336 commercial units and office spaces.
