It is a hotel complex located on the edge of Lake Paranoá in Brasília, seeking a contemporary architectural expression. Due to local legislation, which allows only three floors in height, the project is simultaneously extensive and concise, enabling a clear reading of the work.
Composed of two basement levels, a ground floor, and three upper floors, the building takes on a horseshoe shape that follows the curve of the lake. The construction is defined by red bands (aluminum) and black bands (smoked glass), contributing to the project’s strong visual presence.
The hotel features 396 suites, including two presidential suites—one with 330 m² and another with a 100 m² terrace—both equipped with private elevators and exclusive reception areas in the garage. The remaining suites range from 31 m² to 67 m².
In the grand entrance lobby, the space is striking, with a glass roof supported by sculptural arches. Two long multifunctional pieces—multi-furniture elements—establish the exact proportion of the space.
The gastronomic area includes two international restaurants, a lobby bar, shops, and a private club with a lounge. The leisure sector, located between the building and the lake, comprises a swimming pool, fitness center, a pier for water sports, and an open-air bar.
In addition to the hotel, the complex includes a serviced flat unit with 448 apartments, each with a balcony and 52 m² of area. Lobby, restaurant, gym, central workstation, swimming pools, and a tennis court complete this unit.
The area dedicated to events totals 7,000 m². It includes a large hall with capacity for up to 1,200 people, divisible into three spaces, as well as a set of 14 modular rooms capable of accommodating more than 1,000 people, in addition to an exhibition area of approximately 1,400 m².
A theater/auditorium was also designed, with capacity for 400 people and the necessary infrastructure for theatrical performances, as well as conferences and film screenings.
